Can you fix starting a recording in Cloud DVR?

I love Spectrum Cloud DVR for live sports. I usually can't start watching a sporting event at the exact start time, so I record it and start watching it later on. One annoying thing, however, is that when I start the recording of the event that is in process is that the recording first flashes the current state before jumping back to the beginning, often showing the score of the game! Part of the fun of sports is watching it unfold, but knowing the score is the biggest of spoilers! Can this be fixed?

Thanks!

    Hey there @bspectrum123!

Welcome to our community page. I am so sorry to hear that your recording spoiled the ending for you. However, the CDVR recording, should record in real time. Were the results from a possible highlight from the game prior?

No. This is on the Apple TV app. Start a recording that is in progress (not one that has finished). It will first flash a frame for a few seconds of the current state of the recording, and then will jump back to the beginning. So, if I start watching a football game 1 hour after it started, it will first show me a frame at the 1 hour mark, and then jump to the beginning. Please try it before replying. You will see.
