Cloud DVR - recordings now showing up

For the upteenth time over the past months, a show that was set to record (verified with scheduled recording list) has not recorded. Tonight it got even worse. On the list of DVR recordings it says “1 episode.” Upon opening that, it shows “0 episodes.” What the heck is going on?! Xumo & Cloud DVR once again never fails to disappoint. Our local tech has tried everything with no luck - he is a saint. We’re just not sure what to do or where to go at this point? Any suggestions?

    Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community!

    I do apologize for the issues you are having with the Spectrum TV app and cloud DVR service. Do you see the issue with the recordings on all devices using the Spectrum TV app?

    Also have you tried to reset the modem and router to see if that helps? App issues can be affected by internet issues so a reset can help.

    We have tried all those options; several times. Yes, it’s showing up the same on the app on our phones.

    Is it an ongoing series recording that is having the issue, or even newly scheduled individual episodes fail to record as well? Do you typically schedule the recordings from the Xumo? If so, can you schedule them from your phone and see if the same thing happens?

    We have tried both the app and Xumo to schedule. This does not seem to make a difference. Here’s another thing to add to this, the above mentioned show popped up on the recorded list 2 hours after it ended (on both the app & Xumo)!! In regard to the comment about on-going series vs new, it does not seem to matter. We have tried deleting series then restarting. We have tried setting the series to “all” vs “new” episodes. It does not seem to matter. It’s all very random. There seems to be no consistency in the Cloud DVR service at all!
