Constant Password Resets

Until recently, I had the same (strong) password that I used to log in to the Spectrum app both at home and on my mobile devices when accessing third party apps that authenticate through Spectrum.
In the past few months, Spectrum has been forcing me to change my password when I am not on my home WiFi and trying to authenticate to third party apps like ESPN. This also happens on my laptop that I have been using for years to access watch.spectrum.net.
One of the reasons I am willing to pay for the service (over $300 a month, which includes a VOIP land line that I never use) is the convenience of watching when travelling, but the user experience now is terrible if I am travelling (and then have to re-authenticate of my home devices - Apple TV, Smart TV as well). Seems like a poor attempt at preventing account / credential sharing - something that could easily be done with basic 2FA using an email address or SMS.
Please do something about this or I may have to consider one of the many less expensive options out there.
thank you

Hi & welcome!
You are correct, one of the reasons password resets are triggered is to limit password sharing and to enforce concurrent app log in limits outside of the home.
If you are a frequent out of home user, we suggest that you create at least one additional login that can be used exclusively for out of home use. This will help prevent the frequency of resets and will also help eliminate the need to re-authenticate in home devices.
