Cloud DVR/Series Recording Issue

I called Spectrum support twice today about trying to record a series on the cloud DVR. Specifically, I searched "Formula 1 Racing" and although the series runs on multiple ESPN-owned channels, you cannot record the series. I was able to record a series on one channel (ESPN in this example) but can not add or record other series (on ESPN2, ESPN News, etc) to cover all of the episodes. All of the episodes are "tagged" Formula 1 Racing and show up as a group in the search results so I know they are tied together some how. Spectrum support was unaware of the issues and suggested I post it here. Any idea?

    Good afternoon and welcome @Farmington22,

The ability to set a series recording is only available for programs that are classified as a series with program details provided to us under a specific channel. Typically they have the same program name with only individual episodes under that program listed differently. Sports are often listed as single live events and would need to be recorded individually in that case. Assuming you're trying to set recordings for the currently available Japanese Grand Prix listings, I'm also showing some of the upcoming practice sessions are on a channel that you don't currently subscribe to and would not be available to record as a result. In testing, it is allowing individual recordings to be scheduled for those listings that are available to you.
