A while back I contacted UCTV as to why the network’s former channel 25 position on my lineup was blank. Tuning to it just yields a black screen. They said that they’re no longer on Spectrum. Please de-map this channel or put something else on it. Or put up the “Programming on this network is no longer available” slide on that channel and then de-map it.

    Hey @Joey1986! Sorry for the trouble with our TV service.

    Are you still seeing that channel listed on the guide, or are you just still able to manually tune to channel 25?

    @Joey1986 I checked the Spectrum TV app feed for your area and don't see it listed, are you seeing it on a cable receiver? Have you tried rebooting it recently?

    I’m seeing it on both of my receivers. I have tried rebooting both receivers but that didn’t make a difference. Back in June, I emailed the channel directly, and they said that Spectrum decided to no longer provide this channel as a part of their service.


    Here is the email:

    Joey,

    I was told that after our meeting with Spectrum they decided to no longer provide UCSD-TV as part of their programming service since they are not required to carry us as an education channel.  You can still watch us 24 hours a day for free via our livestream on www.UCSD.TV.


    That’s why I’m asking that this channel number be de-mapped from the guide.
