Will I have XXX@spectrum.net or XXX@charter.net after the email change?
If we currently have XXX@nycap .rr.com, what will it end in now? Can someone please tell me? I'm trying to read all the comments. I'm not sure if I will have XXXX@spectrum .net or XXX@Charter .net
Are there specific instructions for those who use Thunderbird as their email client on the desktop? I have a Mac desktop. I'm not sure how to configure my Thunderbird client.
I currently have the following. How much do I have to change?
mail.twc.com
username XXX
connection security: none
Authentication method: password transmitted insecurely
outgoing server: XXX@nycap.rr.com - mail.twc.com
Server name: mail.twc.com
Port: 587
connection security STARTTLS

Welcome to the Community Forums. New accounts are created with the email domain of @spectrum.net but there are many older domains that our customers still use. The emails are linked to your Spectrum account and a password reset is necessary in some cases. If you received a notification to reset your password then follow the instructions in the email to reset it. You can visit the following site for information on how to setup your Thunderbird.

I went to the spectrum.net. It doesn't really help me. I don't see my specific email ending which is @nycap.rr.com. And, once I am on this page, I still don't have directions on what I'm supposed to do. Am I changing the browser version AND my desktop client (Thunderbird).
I'm wasting a lot of time trying to figure this out, and I can see others are frustrated too.So, I clicked on the following. I wonder if this is right. Am I supposed to leave it as mail.twc.com, or am I supposed to add spectrum.net or mail.charter.net? The directions don't say if I'm supposed to leave mail.twc.com (which is the older one), or type in a new one. Can you please tell me?

I'm on a desktop Mac, using Thunderbird. I don't know if I'm only supposed to reconfigure my Thunderbird client or also change the browser configs too.
