I can understand your concern about receiving the email. We have been sending out messages to customers where their email accounts are not properly assigned to an active account. This can happen during a move or if the account number changes. In most cases, it is transferred when these are updated but at times they did not move properly. I reviewed the email address setup in your profile and confirmed it was related to an email that was not moved properly. The link in the email should refer you to a Spectrum domain. If it directs you to a Spectrum domain site then it is the legitimate email and you should follow the instructions.
