Webmail spam filter

I've been marking spam faithfully. That doesn't seem to reduce spam. After the Charter acquisition... Did Charter webmail filtering sw get disabled? I've heard that $ email client sw learns what the user feels is spam. Has browser based webmail filtering been discontinued?
Can Spectrum send a test email just to see if spam filtering still works? I figure after so many updates... Code might be timing out.🫢
