In the meantime, any TV Select package includes the linear Discovery channel and on-demand stuff while any Entertainment View add-on includes the linear Discovery Family and Discovery Life channels and on-demand stuff thereof while TV Platinum presumably includes the whole linear megillah, and who knows how much of the Discovery+ stuff will continue to be available via HBO Max at any given time until the split is completed.

Yes,
The prerequisite is any Spectrum Select TV plan or Spectrum TV Platinum. Netflix just acquired Warner Brothers Discovery. The deal is expected to close within like six months. It means that HBO Max will have even more content than ever before!
