Roadrunner automatic email forwarding
I have the old nyc.rr.com account and I have depended on it to forward emails from my older accounts, rather than replace all that contact info directly with those acccounts. It's worked quite well up to know. But yesterday the emails stopped being forwarded, and I have since learned (from my A.I. buddy) that "Spectrum may have disabled or broken forwarding for your account." The email storage is still under the limit. (1) Can you confirm whether or not this is so? If not, can you suggest a solution (I've checked all this obvious setting details I can think of)? (2) If it is the case, is there any hope of fixing this so I can keep the forwarding feature connected to all those accounts? Thank you.

Good afternoon and welcome @dseiple,
For security purposes, automatic mail forwarding is no longer a feature offered with our current mail system, however it is still available if already enabled previously. If disabled at any point, it cannot be enabled again.
While your mailbox may be under the storage quota, it does have a lot of emails, which can cause various functionality issues. Eliminating most of the current inbox would be a first step.0

Thank you @Mo _S for checking the details on this. And yes, I have been inattentive on the email storage. Is there any way to eIiminate those emails faster than a hundred at a time, which is the best option I can currently see?
As for the "already enabled previously" option, I had had that function enabled for several years and I don't believe it was ever discontinued. So I wonder if there is any hope of restoring that. I shall continue to chip away at the excess in the meantime.
Thanks again.

Through the mail system directly on spectrum.net, you would only be able to do the 100 at a time as that's the max that can be shown per page, but may be able to delete more via a third party mail app, depending on the app and it's settings. Deleting much of the mail would certainly be helpful, especially if forwarding does not resume and there's something we'd need to escalate to be reviewed further as they may not review further if the total is over 1000.
I checked your settings and did still see forwarding enabled for an Outlook and Gmail address. Was it previously being received on both accounts, and now on neither?0 -
The Outlook has been enabled for over a year, and it's worked fine till this month. The gmail I had recently enabled, just to test out to see where the obstable to the forwarding was. I've disenabled it now.
I'm not familiar with the third party mail app option. I'll see what I can find out about it.
Thanks again!

Just curious:
- Did it work with Gmail?
- Did auto-forwarded messages ever show up in the sent folder of the auto-forwarding email account?
- If so, do received messages still show up in the sent folder as if they've been auto-forwarded?
- What happens if you send a test message from the Gmail account to the address of the auto-forwarding email account? Does it get received by the Outlook.com email address or do you get any kind of a quarantine or rejection bounceback message from Outlook.com to the Gmail account/address or what?
