why does the picture in the Spectrum TV app gets pixilated?
I just switched to Spectrum and downloaded the Spectrum TV app on my Apple TV. The issue is that when I am watching any program the picture get pixilated or fuzzy at times and when I record a program the quality of the picture is bad and the stream stops and exits the program and a notice pops up stating that "Something went wrong" and I have to press "Resume" to continue watching the recording. I am having second thoughts about switching.

Spectrum Internet Streaming devices, including the Spectrum app, Apple TV, and Xumo boxes, are very sensititve to signal strength and require strong and reliable Internet for streaming. I would recommend removing any signal splitters, placing your Internet equipment closer to your Apple TV box and checking for anything that might be interfering with your signals. Generally, the closer your Internet equipment is to your devices the better the signals are.
I have a TP Link WIFI signal booster because I have a laptop in my room far away from my Internet equipment. It really helps in situations where people can't move their Internet devices closer to their equipment. I have something similar to this that I bought at Amazon:
Connect your Apple TV box to that, reboot your Apple TV and see if that helps if you can't move your Internet equipment closer to your Apple TV. If you have done both of those things, I would set up a service call to check your signals and lines.
You can always switch to a physical box or optional physical DVR, which is less demanding on signals than the streaming services.
