Can't access rr.com email

Hello,

I can no longer access my rr.com email account.

My current account/username for Spectrum is another email address (gmail). I've tried the suggestion here:

  • If your Spectrum username is different from your legacy email, log out and sign in again using the legacy email address as the username and its email password.

When I do this, I get the following error:

The info you entered doesn't match our records. Please try again or select Forgot Username or Password. IDID-3104.

If I try the "Forgot Username or Password" link, no matter what I do it consistently shows me my current spectrum user id, which is my gmail address, or it gives me an opportunity to change the password for THAT email address, which I don't want or need to do.

Can you help me get into my rr.com email account?

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I am not showing any rr.com email accounts associated to your account. I have sent you an email message with instructions on how to have your email account moved to your current account. I would also recommend you review the following site with information on recent changes to our email accounts.

    This did not work. In the emailed instructions I get to step 8:

    8. Sign in to the email address you previously entered and open the verification email.

    At this point I try to log in as the .rr.com account that I added as a person in step 3. I still get the same error:

    The info you entered doesn't match our records. Please try again or select Forgot Username or Password. IDID-3104.

    As mentioned earlier, I also already tried all the steps in the link you included called "A message to customers having trouble accessing legacy .rr.com and roadrunner.com email accounts".

    I don't understand why you are "not showing any rr.com email accounts associated to your account." I never did anything to delete the email address.

    Please advise on what the next steps are.
