Spectrum is blocking email from Gmail to verify Roadrunner email
I have several nc.rr.com (Roadrunner) email accounts that I have had for years. In the past, my nc.rr.com email accounts have been connected to Gmail through a POP3. However, Gmail is ending POP3. For the Gmail app, I can connect the nc.rr.com emails through IMAP. But, Gmail does not have an IMAP connection for the Gmail webmail (website). I have signed up for Postdirect to download emails from my nc.rr.com email accounts for Gmail webmail.
I also want to be able to send email from my nc.rr.com email accounts in the Gmail webmail. So in the Gmail settings, I added my nc.rr.com email accounts under send email as without any problems. However, Gmail requires that an email be sent to the email that you are sending from to verify the account. The problem is Spectrum is blocking that verification email. The error code is "550 5.1.0 sender rejected. Please see https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/understanding-email-error-codes for more information AUP#In-1010".
I talked to Spectrum twice and they can't solve this. I have changed my Spectrum PW, cleared my cache, checked my SPAM and junk folders, and added google.com to senders allowed on my nc.rr.com accounts and none of this helped. I have no problem sending other emails from my Gmail account to the nc.rr.com accounts or from the nc.rr.com accounts. I have the same issue with all nc.rr.com accounts and I also tried to add send email as to an alternate Gmail I have and Spectrum blocked the verification email for that alternate Gmail too. Spectrum does not appear to be blocking ANY other emails to nc.rr.com. They are only blocking these emails from Google to verify the nc.rr.com accounts.

Hi & welcome!
Based on the description for the error code: "This email account has been blocked from sending emails due to suspicious activity. Blocks will expire based on the nature of the activity." Please allow 24-72 hours and try sending the email again. If you are still getting an error code, please let us know.

Ok, but keep in mind the verification email is coming FROM Google TO my nc.rr.com emails and this is the only email to my nc.rr.com emails that is getting blocked. I don't know why Spectrum would block legitimate emails from Google but I will wait…..

Heard that. Your Gmail account would be of the gmail.com domain whereas the verification messages would perhaps be from a "no reply" account of the google.com domain.
P.S.: In case you've not already by now surmised:
- 🔗 ↳ 🔗 My recipients see my Gmail address 😊
- ↳ " […] emails I send from these email aliases get marked as SPAm in recipients mailboxes. […] " 🙃
