Hi - I have had a @san.rr.com email address for many years I use it through outlook client. Yesterday it stopped working and asked me for my password. Adding my password isn't helping. How do I access my email please?

    Hello @nivenhowlett;

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I reviewed your account and I see 5 @san.rr.com email accounts. Many of them have not verified yet. I would recommend you visit www.spectrum.net and select sign in. Use the forgot password option to reset the password. It will ask to verify the account and then reset your password.

    I did that earlier as advised by one of the Spectrum chat agents. It didn't do anything though, besides change my password and it also deactivated my chat and now I can't figure out how to contact anyone at Spectrum.

    Anyway you say that you see 5 @san.rr.com accounts, many not verified. I'm not sure what needs to be verified. I've used my email solidly for 25+ years. Is that something I should have a look at? How do I find it? Thanks

    Verification is needed to manage some services and account info but not just for sending/receiving email.

    I see your primary is @Spectrum.net. There are also 5 san.rr.com accounts but only 5 can be total, so one of those is deactivated. I saw two others that were just deactivated yesterday, and I've re-enabled those for you.

    You may need to change the password for each of the accounts. Once changed you should be able to sign in at Spectrum.net using the email address as the username and the new password. This wouldn't impact the chat besides you needing to sign in with the new password.
