Why is it that my Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 does not work on Spectrum Mobile Network.

I tried adding my watch but was told by Spectrum support that my watch was incompatible with their network even though it is a 4G LTE compatible. I was told that due to the fact my watch model number ended in the letter U my watch was incompatible. I contacted Samsung technical support and was told the letter U denotes it is a 4G LTE watch and should be compatible on all networks. I purchased the watch directly from Samsung and not another carrier. So what is the story?

Hey @WMW, welcome to our community! I'm sorry for the trouble activating your smart watch. There may have been a misunderstanding; I'm showing they thought it wasn't compatible because it was missing the U. Samsung watches that are compatible with Spectrum have previously all had a model number ending in U, but there are some Watch8 models that do not. Samsung Galaxy Watch8 (40MM) SM-L320/SM-L325, Samsung Galaxy Watch8 (44MM) SM-L330/SM-L335, Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Ultra SM-L705F/SM-L705N/SM-L705U, and Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic SM-L500/SM-L505U are all compatible with Spectrum. If you have one of these models please give us a call back at 1-833-224-6603.
