Channel switching

In my area, WSPA is leaving the CBS Affiliation and WYFF is picking it up as a digital subchannel 4.3. It's already been confirmed that WYFF 4.3 will be added to Spectrum replacing WSPA in the channel 7 spot, but I was wondering where WYCW would be moved to (if it's even being kept), where WSPA is being moved to as the CW affiliation, and what time Channel 7 will be switched with WYFF 4.3 on August 1st?

WSPA has moved to channel 3 at 1AM Eastern, and WYFF 4.3 replaced WSPA on channel 7.

Hi there @SouthCarolina! Unfortunately I don't have any information on these changes. As a service provider we just show you what local channels are being broadcast in your area, but we don't have any control over their programming.

I was just wondering if WYCW is being dropped & if WSPA is taking its spot on the channel lineup? It's real messy and only WYFF is informing the public of the changes, therefore I was just wondering.

Just start keeping tabs on your Spectrum TV channels 7, 707, 9, & 709 on August 1st and see what all transpires in the by and by, from then, on, as relates to WYFF 4.3, WSPA-TV 7.1, & WYCW 62.1.

In the meantime, log on to your account at 🔗 https://www.spectrum.net and then hit
🔗 https://www.spectrum.net/billing/statements and then hit the most recent statement and then scroll way down and hit up View News and Information to find out what if anything that has to say about it. Otherwise it's possible that WYFF 4.3 taking over Spectrum TV channel 7 is all she wrote. In any case, patience is a virtue.

Thanks for that info! I didn't know that was there. I do know that WSPA announced today that their channel will be going to channel 3 on Spectrum, so it's possible it hasn't hit that news section yet. Switch happens tomorrow night at midnight, just want to make sure I'll still be able to watch WSPA if I wish to.
