I received a text about a major network update in New York City, is the upgrade to enable high split starting in New York City? Is there an estimated completion date when high split speeds will be available to users?

    Hi & Welcome!

    I do show the upgrade work is for high split which will increase upload to be symmetrical to download. This work typically takes several months to complete and then longer before the symmetrical speeds actually go into effect. There is currently no estimated time, but all areas are anticipated to be completed in 2027.
