Is this expected behavior, a known software issue, or something that is being addressed in a future?

I’m having two recurring issues with the Spectrum TV app on Xumo that make basic live-TV navigation unnecessarily frustrating:

  1. While watching live TV, pressing the right side of the circular navigation pad is supposed to bring up the channel guide. Instead, it frequently fast-forwards through the program. Since I’m watching live TV, this is especially confusing and inconsistent.
  2. When I turn on the TV and Spectrum is already playing, entering a channel number directly—for example, channel 15—often brings up an “Exit to Live” screen instead of simply changing to that channel. This happens even if I wait before entering the channel number, so it does not appear to be an issue of pressing the buttons too quickly after startup.

These are basic functions that worked predictably on a traditional cable box. On Xumo, the same controls seem to behave differently depending on an unclear playback state.

Is this expected behavior, a known software issue, or something that is being addressed in a future update?
