Email access clients

What is the status of ability to setup Spectrum email with a client? Webmail appears to work fine, but any other attempt to setup an account with Outlook, Thunderbird or Gmail does not work. None of the online information for setup works and even tech support at Spectrum is not able to help. At this point the only way to get Spectrum email is with a web browser. Is Spectrum moving away from supporting email as a service?

There's currently a known issue using our email service with Microsoft-based email clients which our engineers are working to resolve as soon as possible. Are you able to access email through spectrum.net?

Yes, I am able to access my mail through Spectrum.net. However, would either like to get my Thunderbird client working again or setup Gmail so that I can forward the mail to another email provider that I am moving to. Long term using spectrum.net is just not going to be acceptable.

    Thank you for your reply.

This has been going on since 8/7. This is immensely frustrating for customers who want to use Outlook. The Spectrum Webmail app is a joke. What is an ETA for a fix for this "known" issue?

I agree about the webapp. It used to be a little better, but now it seems just like a bare bones interface with really nothing other than to read your email. In addition, having to go through your Spectrum account to access it is kind of ridiculous. I just hope they can get it fixed so I can get the mail through Google.
