When in the Mid Hudson Vally New York my laptop Email client works fine using server name mail.twc.com. But when traveling out of state I get server errors. Why and how can I resolve?

Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community!

I do apologize for the issues you're having with accessing your email. The settings should not matter if you are accessing the email as long as you are within the states. The only limitations would be if you were to go outside the country.

If you are having issues with the laptop email client you would need to reach out to the third party client since that is not something we can troubleshoot as it is not our product.

Are you able to access our email service by going to our website here and logging in with the full email address and it's password and going to Check Email on the left side of the screen?

Yes I am able to access email by logging in but prefer to use a mail client. I doubt that it's my classic Outlook client since it works fine locally. Also, I have the exact mail server name issue with the Mail app on my iPhone. When traveling I could ping mail.twc.com so it's not a nameserver lookup issue. For some reason the server is mail.twc.com is rejecting me when I am away from home. Does anyone else have this issue?

Okay so since the email works fine through our website then you would need to contact the third party client to see if they can assist further since that is not our product.

Our capacity to troubleshoot email issues is with our website alone.
