Having Pixelation on 1 of two TV's

Watching cable TV through the Spectrum Cable Box, getting bad pixelation for past week. Streaming on same TV is fine. Another TV with Spectrum Cable Box is fine. Do I need to replace the cable box? If yes, can I recover the shows that are saved on it and move them to the new cable box?

Good afternoon and welcome @jgutknecht,
While replacing the receiver may resolve the issue, this kind of performance is usually indicating an issue with the signal for at least that outlet. If you've already rebooted by removing both the power and cable line for at least 30 seconds, you can try swapping receivers between rooms to see if there's any change. If the same receiver has an issue in the other room, it may be equipment related, although may still be related to the signal being received. If you do exchange the equipment, the recordings on a physical DVR would not transfer to a new unit.It may be best to schedule a technician to investigate further if there's still an issue after these steps as this may avoid needing to exchange the equipment and lose recordings. If you need to have that scheduled, please let us know and we can set up the first available for you, which you can then modify as needed via our website or My Spectrum App.
