Hello and Welcome to the Community Forums @Aviator_320!
For our Wifi 7 routers, there is not a WPS option, but we do have a temporary wifi steering that can be done if you manually connect your extenders/devices that need the 2.4G specifically to function! It is time sensitive though, once it's turned on it's got a limit before it auto turns off. The device(s) you work with in that time before it ends will maintain their setting, but it won't allow you to add more once the time is up. Due to this it is recommended for customers to call so our team can do it live with you while you're doing it. But we could try to perform this in private messages if you want to give it a shot.

Thankbyou for your answer to my questions. I have a karge home footprint and have a need to " extend" my WiFi signal. There are WiFi 7 Mesh extension devices on the market. Would those be more compatible to the Spectrum WiFi router?

Good evening, we really don't recommend any particular type of equipment. We just recommend that you make sure it will meet your subscribed speeds, and you should be good to use it in most cases. -Lyn

You extend your Spectrum Advanced Home WiFi with Spectrum WiFi Pods:
🔗 https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/modems-routers-wireless-adapters ↳ WiFi Pods ↳ Spectrum WiFi Pod ↳ View Manual
🔗 https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/advanced-wifi-features ↳ Manage Your WiFi Network Name & Password ↳ To edit a Pod name: … ↳ Locate Pod …
Otherwise, if you'd rather expand your WLAN via Ethernet-extended additional Wi-Fi service sets, see if your Netgear Wi-Fi extender supports access point mode,
P.S.: the latter would involve running out an Ethernet cable and the disassociation/re-association heuristics as you move about wouldn't be painless so i'd go with the Spectrum WiFi Pods and forget about it.
