Intermittent Internet after new modem/router

Everyday since this new modem and router were sent out Internet goes in and out of connection CONSTANTLY. Literally like 5-7 times during one movie playing. I have reset , Spectrum has reset- says it's all working fine and same thing once it starts back up. Any advise would be appreciated because I have gotten no useful information.

Welcome to our community! I'm sorry to hear about the ongoing issues after replacing your equipment. When the connection drops out, are your devices still showing that you are connected to the wireless network but have no internet or does the wireless network vanish entirely?

After you unplug both of them, try plugging in the modem only. When the LEDs on the front shows that you are online (steady, not flashing), plug in the router and let it boot fully. See the link below.
