Is there a way to download a pdf of my bill without a cell phone?
Since the security system has been upgraded, apparently Spectrum needs to verify my identity before allowing me to download a pdf of my bill. It does that verification by sending a passcode by text. My phone is a land line, so I cannot receive text. One customer service person claimed that my passcode delivery method could be set to email, but another claimed that it must be text. If the latter is true, I am no longer eligible for pdf downloads, simply because I do not have a cell phone.

Hello @MarciaBayle;
Welcome to the Community Forums. Our site has recently updated to add additional security to verify the account. This change also affects The My Spectrum app. This needs to be completed before you can access the information. When you log into spectrum.net then it will give you an option to send a text message, receive an email address, or receive a phone call. This should happen when you first log into the site. If this is not happening then I would recommend trying a different browser with the site so the option shows up.

I have been told by customer service that there are many places where communication choices are stored. For billing, order, and service notifications, my selection is email. Every month, I get an email telling me that my bill is due, so that selection is working. The passcode delivery method is a separate setting. It is apparently under the sign-in & security tab. I have no idea what is there because it is protected by a verify identity window. In order to see what is there, I would need to first receive a passcode by text, which I can't do.

The verification option on our website is not the same thing as the Communications. It should give you an option to select one of the 3 options when you log into the site.
