how do you sign up for Disney+
I'm having an issue activating my Disney+, Hulu, ESPN bundle, specifically Disney+. I get this error when landing on the Disney+ activation page once logged in:
"We noticed your subscription is already signed up for Disney+ with another email."
I'm using the email address I entered via the signup process, what's the issue?
I had no issue signing up for the rest of the free services offered. I called Disney customer service and it is horrible. They won't give me what other email it is and I am supposed to guess it. There are no other active subscriptions with Disney. Can someone at spectrum help me with Disney+ and help me resolve this?
I've been back and forth for two days, and many hours between Disney+ support and trying to resolve this with no resolution. Very frustrated. i am ready to cancel the whole thing.

Hello @thermostat!
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with registering for the Disney+ app. To confirm, when signing up for the app, did you link it through Spectrum.net?

Good Morning @thermostat!
Have you tried these exact steps below? If not, try them, If they don't work, where do you get stuck? Have you tried doing this processes on a PC web browser, or just the Spectrum app?
*****************************************
1.) Sign up through Spectrum. Log in to My account@spectrum .net and the TV/streaming Services you see on the tab
2.) Go down to your streaming services and select Disney+
3.) When you get to the "My Disney Enter Your Email to Continue" screen , where you enter your email and password…..You must enter the exact same email and password that you use to log into Spectrum.net Services and the forum!!! This is how Disney knows you are going through Spectrum. You will have to enter your My Services forum email and password for all devices in which you use Disney+ This is Disney+'s way of "Logging in through a provider."
4.) You will be asked to create a profile, I don't know why they want your birthday, but if you are apprehensive about putting that in there, just make up a date/year (Format XX/XX/XXXX) A few other things.
5.) Click to save your changes and you will be taken to your profile page. Bookmark it or add it to your Smart Device Home Screen for quick reference.

Doing some researching, this issue according to Reddit, has been a problem with Disney+ and other providers as well for the past five years! The problem is with Disney+'s poor communication, not Spectrum:
1.) You will need to delete that old Disney+ account associated with a past subscription, even if that subscription is no longer active. It's the only way to get that old email address out of Disney+'s system database. Here's help on how to delete a past Disney+ non-active third-party subscription, You might have to wait at least 24 hours to get the old data out of the system. Select from the link below- "Delete my Disney+ account." See here:
2.) After that old account and email has been removed from the Disney+ database, you should finally be able to sign in to Spectrum using your Spectrum account credentials, and only your Spectrum account credentials through Spectrum.net to enjoy Disney+. The problem with Disney+ is that a non-active account (through them) does not mean a cancelled account. You have to get that past non-active account out of Disney+'s system first, which will remove that pesky "You already have an email associated with this account message."
3.) Once that old non-active account is gone, you can log in to Disney+ through your Spectrum account only and bookmark or favorite the new information.

cannot do that as we have no idea what account is there. we have not made one in the past so we have no idea what email is it and they will not tell us due to privacy laws so it is a catch 22.

I am stumped!
@HT_Greenfield or anybody else, any ideas on what to do here?
I am running an idea through my head, but I want to hear others' thoughts on this first. It sounds like @thermostat since they won't release his/her old email information would have to do the following:
1.) Sign up for Disney+ through Disney+ as a new user. (Starting over like a new Disney+ customer.)
2.) Pick a Disney+ Hulu or combo plan as a new user.
3.) Activate this plan through Disney+
4.) Wait for 24 hours.
5.) Cancel the Disney+ subscription through Disney+
6.) Delete the Disney+ account (Steps 5 and 6 must be performed in exact sequential order.)
7.) Wait another 24 hours for that information to process.
8.) Go to Spectrum.net, use Spectrum account log in information and sign in to Disney+.
9.) Favoring or Saving the new Disney+ log in through Spectrum.

- Just curious if you could try signing directly in to Disney+ with your de facto email address anyway
- Also just curious if you have additional "people" set up in your spectrum.net account to be able to access the account and thus the TV subscription with their own credentials
