How to Request Fiber-to-the-Home service

We've been Spectrum internet customers for over 30 years & were Beta testers when cable broadband was new. The cross -street at the end of our street has Fiber - less then 10 houses away. When we ask when can we get fiber, Spectrum customer service rep states "when we let you know it's available." When we ask who can we contact the answer is - "You can't contact anyone about fiber service."
The absolutely insane part is that many of the people on this street are engineers (including both of us) who worked in the early commercialization and deployment of Fiber Optics and/or currently work for one of the major companies who manufacture fiber. Yet we can't get it to our house. Other, smaller providers are offering fiber in our area, and we can actually call their customer service and ask to be added to the wait list.

Wondering if Spectrum still wants us as customers?

    Hello @Fiber_1981;

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I can understand the concern about getting our fiber service. Many of our new service areas are receiving fiber to the homes. At this time we do not know when service areas already working with cable lines to home will get fiber to the homes.
