Trying to reset password

Hi there~

My wife is trying to reset her password for her email address (redacted). Unfortunately, she is not going to be near the spectrum cable box to be able to reset it. Is there another way that she can reset her password?

    Hello!

    Welcome to our community page, we appreciate you brining this to our attention. You do not need the cable box to reset the password, but you can reset the password via Spectrum.net or the My Spectrum app.

    The instructions are below,

    To reset your forgotten Spectrum username or password:

    1. Select Sign in.
    2. Select Forgot Username or Password? (Located under the Sign In button.)
    3. Select an option and enter the respective info on the next screen.
    4. Follow the prompts and enter the requested info.
    5. Confirm your account using your username and ZIP Code, your phone number, your email address or your account info.

    You'll need to confirm your account in one of three ways: username and ZIP Code, phone number or email address

    Using Your Username and ZIP Code

    1. Select Username and ZIP Code and enter your information.
    2. Confirm you’re not a robot.
    3. Then, verify your identity by choosing to receive a verification code via text message, email or phone call.

    Enter the verification code on the next screen. Here, you can choose to sign in or reset your password.

    Using Your Phone Number

    1. Select Phone Number and enter your information.
    2. Confirm you’re not a robot.
    3. Then, verify your identity by choosing to receive a verification code via text message, email or phone call.
    4. Enter the verification code on the next screen. Here, you can choose to sign in or reset your password.

    Using Your Email Address

    1. Select Email Address and enter your information.
    2. Confirm you’re not a robot.
    3. Then, verify your identity by choosing to receive a verification code via text message, email or phone call.
    4. Enter the verification code on the next screen. Here, you can choose to sign in or reset your password.

    Ensure you create a strong password to protect all of your personal and business information. Make it easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess. Keep it a secret; don't tell your family or friends, etc.
