Why do I consistently loose internet connection.
Approximately every other day I loose internet connection. I unplug the Spectrum router, plug it back in and it typically connects again for another couple of days. Why is the happening?

Hello and Welcome, @onwisc93!
The first thing you need to do is to unplug both the modem and router for five minutes, not just the router. You need to do both. Than reconnect the modem, waiting for it to get back online. After that, the router.
If the problem persists, you will need a service call to check your signals and lines. Spectrum recommends the rental of Internet equipment for best performance. Get the tech visit done if the reboots don't solve this. Follow this up with the service call to check your signals and lines. The tech will replace the lines if your signals are bad. If your signals are good, and if the modem is really old, say an estimate of more than six years old, and you rent it from Spectrum, the tech will upgrade your modem to the newest DocSis 3.1 modem. If you rent a router, you will than get a new enhanced WIFI router with a built in security shield to protect all devices on your network.

Good morning & wlecome @onwisc93,
Reviewing your account, I'm not showing you subscribe to our wifi or have our router in use. It looks like you may have your own Belkin router connected to the modem, was that correct? Are you unplugging both the modem and router when you are unable to connect?
