Is this problem outside of my home network?
I have restarted my network several times over the past few days trying to remedy this connection issue. Things are relatively fine until they aren't. Sites will suddenly struggle to load and voice/video on Discord will begin to lose quality very fast.
This was around 8:42pm eastern, last night. I've had a few different days where I'd test on "www.google.com" and the results were similar.

Modem may be tracking signs of signal quality issues (abnormally high number of error corrections, bad noise levels, etc.).
Have you called it in yet? Sometimes the auto attendant will already have a notification if there's a known service issue for your area. Otherwise, it may put you in touch with someone who can look at stats and schedule a tech visit if warranted.

I agree with @RAIST515O This sounds like a signal line problem. Call to report this. Let them know the time intervals when Internet slows down. You will probably need a service call to check signals and lines.

Does it matter that I am using a modem and router that I purchased for myself when it comes to having someone come out?I was having problems with the equipment that we were leasing originally so I bought Spectrum approved stuff.I finally managed to get into a live chat and was informed that my Arris SurfBoard SB6190 running DOCSIS 3.0 could be the culprit. I have been using it for years and at some point we changed to a 600 Mbps subscription. The live agent informed me that Spectrum does not support anything above 500 Mbps for DOCSIS 3.0 and that this modem may eventually "burn up" as a result and start to cause connectivity issues.
