Cloud DVR playback on apple tv 4K blurry
Has anyone else been having issues with the cloud dvr playback recordings? I’ll play a saved recording and then it would start getting blurry and buffer. It’s been happening on all the saved recordings for the past week or so.

Welcome to our community! I'm sorry to hear about the issues watching recorded content. Have you noticed any issues with live TV as well? Also, do you have another device, such as a smart phone or even a computer where you can use the browser to see if the issue is happening on that device or if it's specific to the Apple TV?

Hi…live tv is fine. When I tried watching my recordings on my ipad, playback was fine. But I didn’t watch long enough on the ipad to see if the picture would turn blurry eventually. Besides, the Spectrum tv app cloud dvr is to be used with my apple tv/tv so I really don’t want to watch Spectrum tv through my computer or phone. The issue is with playback using my apple tv/tv.

It’s only happening to this apple tv because it’s what I am using to watch my cloud dvr

Hello,
I see the same thing as annamfc95.It is only on the Apple TV Spectrum app. Roku and Samsung TV apps play back recording fine. I think it started after my Apple TV undated to tvOS 26.2.

I have been having the same cdvr problem as the others using the Apple TV and iPad Spectrum TV app for the past week. Live TV is ok but anything that has been recorded shows an intermittent blurry picture. I had a Spectrum technician out this week to check my signal to the modem. He put new connectors on all cables and changed my modem but I still have the same problem. Unfortunately, I am going to cancel my TV service since watching TV recordings are not working and I don’t like paying for a service that is not working.

Agreed. We should get some type of refund since the service is unavailable. Why pay for cloud dvr when you can’t even watch your recordings.
