How to access my rr.com webmail without setting up a a new @spectrum address?
Just another person who can't access their rr.com webmail. I try to log in with the full rr.com address and it says that I haven't set up my (spectrum_username)@spectrum.net address and asks if I want to proceed.
I do not want a spectrum.net address, but what am I supposed to do? I don't want to risk losing all of my rr.com emails, it contains all of my business correspondence and such.
I've been reading all sorts of other posts but it seems like everyone has slightly different issues so it's hard to tell what's appropriate.
To add to the fun, I am not on my "home network" because of temporary relocation after a fire, and my "home network" is gone. (still paying for it to keep the account alive for email until I can move home)
Any help would be appreciated. If I need to set up the spectrum.net account that's fine but I need to know I will not lose my @rr.com address and emails stored there.
…this migration was handled horribly….

Hi @Michael98! Sorry to see about your house and for the email problems. Setting up a Spectrum.net username is required, but that won't change your email to the @Spectrum.net domain. I checked your account and it looks like your usernames are already set up, so you just need to sign in at Spectrum.net with your email address as the username, and then select "Check Email" from the sidebar to the left.

Thanks for your help. When I go to check email, it says "You haven't set up an email account for your Spectrum username mxxxxxx8. Do you want to create a mailbox for mxxxxxx8@spectrum .net?" and wants me to create a password. Just to confirm, this won't replace or delete my original rr.com email address or stored messages? (sorry to belabor the point, this is just very very important)

You're welcome. No, it won't replace them. Your primary username m******8@spectrum.net doesn't currently have any mailbox associated with it, you can follow the prompts to set that up if you want. Your other email accounts m****t@*****.rr.com and m*****t@*****.rr.com have their own username and associated mailbox. You need to sign out of the mxxxxxx8@spectrum.net then sign back in using the email address you want to check as the username.
