A note regarding upgrades and Network Evolution:


Customers will be notified by their preferred communication method (email or text) when upgrades are available in their area
We expect 100% of our service area to be completed by end of next year

LEGACY EMAIL KNOWN ISSUE


There is a known issue accessing legacy email accounts on email clients, including Microsoft platforms
Our engineers are aware and working on a fix, there is currently no ETA for the issue to be resolved
No additional examples are needed and there is no need to create a new post
Legacy email users can access email by logging in to your Spectrum account at:
spectrum.net

Is there anyway to tell when Symmetrical speeds are coming to South Carolina?

    I was able to find your area based on your community login. At this time there is no estimate for when the symmetrical speeds are going to be in your area.

    Last I looked at the lists in the stickied post currently down for editing, SC had a lot of hardware upgrades completed/pending within the current 6 month window (basically Jan-June). But that is just one side of the equation... can take up to another 6 months for logical updates, modem replacements, etc. for the new tiers to go live. So a more realistic date may be fall '26 or spring '27... which kinda falls in line with the general plan of completing transitions "by 2027".

    So I'd probably know when I get a message or something in the mail notifying me of the upgrade, and needing to go to the Spectrum store for a replacement or would they (technicians) come by and replace my modem?

    You will receive notifications of the upgrades being in progress since they usually require extended maintenance for a few days for some of the work. If any new equipment is needed, you will receive notification. The method will depend on the contact preferences for the account, but it would typically be as a text message or email.

    Alrighty, I appreciate the information, I am heavy intensive on the upload side of the internet and 12 MB on upload just ain't cutting it no more lol.
