I was wondering if free MLB.tv access will still be included for the MLB Extra Innings package this upcoming season. I’ve heard conflicting answers concerning this topic.

    Good afternoon @EricWNY. Welcome to our community. I have done some research and what I can see free MLB.TV access with the MLB Extra Innings package indicates that customers can connect their Spectrum.net account to their MLB.TV account to access out-of-market games. Now this can change when the new season begins.

    On DIRECTV, MLB Extra Innings has a channel which shows 8 games (which is great!). Why is this not offered with Spectrum? The cost is the same for DIRECTV and Spectrum.

    Hey there @Edward616,

    Thank you for sharing that information and welcome to our community page! MLB Extra Innings does not feature a single channel that displays multiple games simultaneously. Instead, it is available on multiple channels, with each channel typically airing individual games. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused, but if we can further clarify the package or our services in anyway, please let us know. I hope you have a wonderful night.

    Should you need our assistance in the future, please let us know.

    @Edward616 : Multiview notwithstanding, with DirecTV, 150 beans is your only option and satellite-only at that. With Spectrum, it's 70.

    The link above leads to a Spectrum page with MLB Extra Innings for $70 but my Spectrum app only offers the package for $149.99. Why the difference?

    @stannc

    The $149.99 price is for the full season and is the option when ordering between 3/10/26 and 4/30/26. A $70 price option becomes available in August 2026.

    What James said! @Edward616 & @stannc : Thus i stand soundly corrected. I'm a moron 🤡. My bad 🥺.

    P.S.: DirecTV satellite-only multi-minuscule-view is for the birds … as in when the Orioles & the Cardinals & the Blue Jays are all on at the same time, that is. 🙂
