Xumo keeps dropping connection to the router

I had a Xumo box installed since there were severe problems with Spectrums's cable DVR box. At first, it worked liked a charm, fast response times, fairly easy to find channels. However, it is now dropping its connection to the router, sometimes many times during the day. I reported it to Spectrum and the technician suggested I hardwire it rather than used wireless. I was told by the tech to installed it that wireless is now the preference and Spectrum wants all users to used the Xumo box. I was sent the cables required, but I'm stubborn and have not yet installed it. I'm thinking of cutting the cable entirely in favor of streaming services.

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing the same irritating issue.

    Hello and welcome @Worhamwilly,

    Reviewing your connected devices and their history, the Xumo isn't showing a loss of connection to the router occurring as often as the issue you're seeing. When you lose connection, what steps do you take to get the Xumo reconnected? Any resets within the Xumo settings or reset of the internet equipment? If you're able, hardwiring the Xumo by ethernet would provide the best connection. If you continue to have an issue with the internet connection to the device, we can also setup a technician to investigate your issue further.
