Weather Channel localization

in Spectrum TV App Feedback - ROKU and Other devices

How come you can localize AccuWeather on the TV app, and on cable box localize The weather channel and AccuWeather but yet on the app for phones and tablets the weather channel is not localized for local weather. Do you have it out for the weather channel and giving AccuWeather preferential treatment to the localization? The weather channel online verses my cable box is analog on my cable box with local feed yet in other markets I see it it 16x9 and local feed and matches on both apps and the cable TV set top box which is pretty much IP based?

    For your Spectrum TV app usage, The Weather Channel utilizes a national feed for customers. For viewing on the cable receiver, are you watching on channel 51 or 798? All content is digital, not analog, but the lower numbers were traditionally for SD video.
