New closed captioning too high, delayed

The new closed captioning takes up a lot of real estate, is delayed, and doesn't discriminate between speakers. Formerly it was at the bottom of the screen, aligned with what the people were saying, and showed markers to indicate a change in speaker. Now there is slippage between what people are saying and the captions, and a big chunk of the screen is covered by the caption box.
