When watching live TV or regular TV programming it freezes. We have to change channels to get programming to work again. We have tried several fixes including deleting the spectrum app and reinstalling it. Any suggestions besides unplugging the modem for 60 secs?

Most of the time the picture is okay, but sometimes if there is a lot of motion like cars racing or a credit scroll, the picture pixelates and jumps. I called to get a lower price and they gave me "faster internet," and a new modem and router. Now my brand new router is off line every morning when I wake up, requiring me to restart it from behind my TV. This is not sustainable. My old one worked just fine. Why is this happening?
I just got Spectrum TV this week with a Xumo box. My only complaint so far is the Guide.I have to switch to favorites everytime.
