Why is our Roku Tv freezing?

When watching live TV or regular TV programming it freezes. We have to change channels to get programming to work again. We have tried several fixes including deleting the spectrum app and reinstalling it. Any suggestions besides unplugging the modem for 60 secs?

I noticed this too yesterday on the very slow Spectrum TV app. I thought it was because of the old 28" TCL Class 3-Series Simply Smart LED (28S305). Changing channel and then going back fixed it. I hope it doesn't happen again.
