Brand new modem goes off line each night

I called to get a lower price and they gave me "faster internet," and a new modem and router. Now my brand new router is off line every morning when I wake up, requiring me to restart it from behind my TV. This is not sustainable. My old one worked just fine. Why is this happening?

    Hey @Brensken, welcome to our community! If the problem only started since getting the new modem, it's likely a problem with that modem. I'd recommend making sure that the coaxial cable is firmly connected to the modem and wall outlet, otherwise you can exchange the modem at any Spectrum store or we can schedule an appointment with a technician to come take care of it.
