What dates DO you see? Which areas are next for high-split?

  • It seems that the default response to any questions about when high-split is coming to a particular area boils down to 1 of 3 options:
  • 1. The upgrade work is completed, but we don't have a time frame for when high-split will be activated for your area.
  • 2. The upgrades are in progress, but we don't have a time frame for when the upgrade work will be completed for your area, other than it could be 6 months or longer.
  • 3. We don't see that upgrades have started/been scheduled for your area and we don't have a time frame for when the upgrades will be completed, other than by the end of 2027.

I understand that you don't like giving specific dates or estimates for when service upgrades will go live because you did that before and then failed to deliver by those dates, especially after Hurricane Helene and the supply problems with new nodes/amps. We get it. It's not the best look when you give customers an expectation and then fail to meet that expectation.

Instead of continuing to have everyone ask so that they can just get 1 of the 3 generic responses, can you share what you DO know and what dates you CAN see? What areas ARE expected to go live soon and when? Even if it comes with a BIG * indicating that dates are just estimates and are subject to change without notice, it'd go a long way to pacify those customers, myself included, who are excited and ready for the upgraded service offerings to go live.

If there are areas that are expected to go live in the next 2 weeks, month, 2 months, etc, which areas are those and when are they expected to go live? If there are NOT any areas expected to go live in the near future, just tell us "There are NO areas expected to go live in the next ___ (weeks/months)." Whenever an area does get an estimated date to go live, you can update the post to indicate what area that is and how long it will be before it is expected to go live.
