Are these emails from Spectrum or are they just phishing?
Every couple of weeks I receive an email from Spectrum Team notifications@nbold.io that reads like the one below. Are they genuine? Text follows:
System Maintenance Notification
As Spectrum completes the transition to our 2026 Unified Messaging Platform, all accounts currently hosted on legacy regional servers must be synchronized to maintain service continuity.
This update is required to ensure your inbox remains compatible with our latest security layers and to prevent service interruptions for outgoing messages. Please acknowledge this transition to verify your account status.
[ There's a link that reads: ]
Acknowledge Service Transition
Important: Failure to complete this one-time synchronization by May 12th, 2026, may result in your account being flagged as "Out of Compliance," leading to temporary mailbox restrictions.

Hello @tourists04;
Welcome to the Community Forums. I can understand your concerns about these emails being legitimate. We do not use that domain to send emails. We have recently moved emails to a new platform but this was completed nearly 6 months ago and we did not use the terminology used in the message you received. I also confirmed that we did not send any notifications to you recently about email migrations So this email is not from us. I would recommend you flag the email as spam so your provider investigates the issue.

I suspected as much, but wanted to confirm. Thanks!
