Tampa/Temple Terrace high-split update 33617?

Everyone is telling me that high-split is immanent in my area. Spectrum even sent me an email that they would send a tech to my house for free to check my signals, etc., which I have no problems or issues. So I had a tech who came over and immediately took out a ladder and climbed up the poll. He said the same thing, that high-split is getting activated everywhere. So what's the latest for my area 33617?
Looking forward to finally being able to store large backups and files using cloud services soon!
