HI -

I had 2 email addresses associated with my Spectrum / Roadrunner. I am able to still access one (for now) but not the other. I have tried to log in but says there isn't an email account. How can I find out if Spectrum did not move the second account over with this change. Thank you, MIV

    Hello @MIV;

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I see that the email address you used for this profile is linked to 2 different active accounts. I see both have @wi.rr.com email accounts. The one account, the email accounts are not verified. You can visit www.spectrum.net and login with the email accounts. It will ask you to verify the account during the login. If you are not able to login then I would suggest you select the Forgot password option to reset the password.

    Thanks, Edward, yes, it is attached to 2 accounts, sorry, I missed mentioning that. I have tried going the www.spectrum.net route but that only changes my account login doesn't help with the email I need to sign into. I have different emails for my account login vs. my email account login. I do not want my account login changed. Even when I go into my account there is nowhere that I can find what emails are valid. I am looking into email through the mail3@spectrum.net/user/mail which is a redirect.

    I can understand the concern about not changing the login. I do see that some of the accounts on the one account is not verified. That means you need to log into the email accounts on www.spectrum.net before you can access them in your email program. Sometimes the password needs to be reset during this process. After the reset is done then you can set it back to the password you prefer. Make sure you are attempting to log into the email address itself and not your main Spectrum login.

    You verify the email address by logging into www.spectrum.net. It will ask you to either send a text message or email message with a code to verify your identity.

    Well, can't get emails so I cannot use that email address. I logged in using the email no longer working, it sent me a verification number, said change password (this is all my account), and when I ask to change my password, it says I can't as it does not match. That makes sense as my username / login for my account is not the email that we no longer have access to. So I am back to where I started, how / where can I confirm what email addresses were on the account. Using Spectrum.net I sent an invite to that email but not getting it because I can no longer login.

    I am in my account, the email that is not working is under "People" as an ADMIN ROLE but says "Invalid". What does that mean?

    The error message you are receiving is referring to the new password and not your old password. You may have mis-typed the password in one of the boxes. Please retype the passwords in both boxes. Once you gain access to the email accounts, you will be able to send the invite to your email and have them transferred to your profile. I am seeing 2 wi.rr.com on one of the accounts and 1 wi.rr.com on the other. I do apologize for account security, I am not able to tell you what email accounts are tied to the account.

    The email that is working is under "People" as both PRIMARY ROLE and STANDARD ROLE. Confused as to why my info would have to be there as two different roles.

    I see that the email address that is verified is linked as a recovery email address for itself and one other profile. That is likely why you are seeing one that says Primary and one that says Standard.

    Yes, I appreciate the security and know which of the accounts has 2 emails vs. 1 email. I honestly have no idea what you are saying. Who will transfer the email not working from my email that is working?

    The invite you selected earlier is to assist with transferring emails from one account to another. You do not have to do this. All you need to do is complete the verification process to ensure the email accounts are activated properly.
