A note regarding upgrades and Network Evolution:
Customers will be notified by their preferred communication method (email or text) when upgrades are available in their area
We expect 100% of our service area to be completed by end of next year
High split upgrade timeline for 92129
Hi, I received the following email today:
“In order to serve you better, we're starting a major network upgrade on September 17. We’ll do our best to keep service interruptions to a minimum. Once the upgrade is complete, your Internet experience will be improved.”
Questions:
- Is this the high-split symmetrical speed upgrade or something else?
- When will the high-split symmetrical speed service be available to use at my address in 92129?
I am really hoping the answers are “yes” and “within a few weeks” because current upload speeds on the gigabit download plan are tragic (40mbps).

There's no set date for when the symmetrical speeds will launch, but it will hopefully be soon. Customers will be notified by their preferred communication method (email or text) when upgrades are available in their area. We expect 100% of our service area to be completed by end of next year

Between September 17 (when the email says upgrades will take place) and “end of next year” is not a useful range.
Can you please share a two-month window for what is being targeted?
It’s hard to believe that there is zero capex planning and project management going on, but if that is true, it’s quite alarming that the best answer possible is “hopefully by the end of next year.”

Where I live in Florida and family in South Carolina, customer service said they expect sometime in January when I called in to see major upgrade changes available.

I received an email that the upgrade was completed, but no further details.
What did this upgrade consist of? Wired speeds are same as before after a modem power cycle.0
