Troubleshooting Error Codes on the Spectrum TV App & SpectrumTV.com

We see questions and traffic on the Community Forums about error codes.  I am listing some common issues in a reply, so it can be marked as a solution.  If you are seeing an issue, have questions or comments, please start a new thread.

The Spectrum TV App is currently supported on Android, iOS (12.0 and better), Roku, Xbox, and Samsung Smart TV’s.

 

Commonly, the error is caused when the app is unavailable including outages or if there is an issue with your credentials.

    SpectrumTV.com Error Codes

     

    • WLC-1006 - We See You're Away From Home: Make sure you’re connected to your In-Home WiFi network, then restart the app and try again.
    • WLI-1010 - Unable to Sign In: Make sure you’re using the correct username and password and try again. If you’re still having trouble signing in, get username and password help.
    • WLI-1027 - Auto-Access Denied: Sign in manually using your Spectrum username and password.

     

    Seeing a Different Error Code?

     

    Try the following steps to resolve many of the most common issues with SpectrumTV.com and the Spectrum TV app:

    1. Restart the Spectrum TV app and try again.
    2. Make sure you're connected to your In-Home WiFi network. Learn more about troubleshooting your WiFi connection.
    3. Reset your device by unplugging it and allowing it to power down completely. Wait a few minutes before plugging it back in.
    4. Make sure you're signing in with the correct username and password. Get username and password help.

     

    You can also Ask Spectrum if there’s currently a service outage.
