Pixel 7 Pro - Unable to connect to home wifi or spectrum mobile wifi at home.
Hello everyone I think I need a bit of help.
When I'm at home, I'm unable to connect to either my home wifi or the spectrum mobile wifi that pops up. I've had no issues connecting literally everywhere else on either. I've called support and basically got no help.
It's to the point where I'm eating through my mobile data and getting close to the cap very quickly every couple of weeks.
Any ideas? Thanks!

I do apologize for the inconvenience. This is the only device that is not connecting, all others connect fine to the home network?

Yes, the Pixel 7 Pro is the only device not connecting.

It looks like Spectrum Mobile Wi-Fi is way too far out of range, there, and the device is connected to Spectrum1127 and the latter is literally lacking Internet connectivity. Stupid question: Are any of the other devices connected to your LAN/WLAN specifically connected via one and the same Wi-Fi SSID and getting Internet at the same time the subject one doesn't, and do you have any kind of access control enabled on the router?

We have several devices connected to the Spectrum1127 and are actively on the internet when I try to connect my Pixel. And as far I'm aware there is no access control.
"Way too far out of range." I wonder why that is because it only pops up when I'm at home, and when I go to other places that have Spectrum Mobile Wifi hotspots, I connect with no issues.

To clarify, it seems obvious to me that the signal level of the Spectrum Mobile Wi-Fi you are detecting at home is so low that it is barely and then only intermittently discoverable, much less connectable, as if the access point that's broadcasting its beacon frames is located well away from your home. Situation normal as far as i'm concerned.
As far as your own home Wi-Fi goes, make sure access control isn't enabled on the wireless router and then reboot/power-cycle it and then delete/forget the device's connection to it and then reconnect the device to it.

Otherwise let me know the make and model of your wireless router and whether you have any additonal routers and/or access points at play on your home network.

Looks like the router is a Spectrum SAX2V1S. And I have no other routers or access points.

None of these have helped. Should I try to call support again? It's very frustrating because again, I've ran through my data.

No. If your Pixel 7 Pro has the latest version of Android OS available for it and if you've literally factory reset it and it still is unable to gain Internet access specifically via your or anybody else's home i.e. personal Wi-Fi before you restore the backup, then i like your chances for free repair or replacement regardless of warranty status. Such claims in the first place are what lead to the establishment of extended repair/replacement programs like the ones for the Pixel 4 XL and the Pixel 5a.

This is a long shot, but have you rebooted your router lately. Powered it down, left for a minute, re-powered. I'm wondering if the router is failing to assign an IP address to your Pixel for some reason. The Pixel IS set for auto-IP i.e. DHCP is it not? If yes, try giving it a fixed IP in your LAN's range and see if that does anything.
P.S. Is your router connected to a Spectrum cable modem? What model?
