Good evening @Wrestler and Welcome to our Community Forums

I am sorry to learn about your lap top being disconnected from your WiFi connection. Is this happening with any other devices? Have you attempted to forget the network on this device and then set the network back up? Also, I would recommend resetting your internet equipment. This can be done by unplugging the cable line, power line, and removing the battery backup if you have one for both the modem and the router for a solid 3-5 minutes. -Lyn

Thank you for the feedback. It is only happening on the laptop and no other devices. I have removed the network and set it back up. I was advised by my work IT that my router may need an update? The laptop was connect to another users Spectrum and had no issues. The only way I am able to connect to my Spectrum internet is if I am hard-wired to the modem.

You're not able to get internet through the router either with an ethernet cable, you have to connect straight to the modem? Does it tell you not connected, connected with no/limited connectivity, or something different?
