Internet connection disappears every day

Every day - at different times, the internet portion of the service disappears for 10 minutes. The phone service that uses the same cable modem does not disappear. It's not the wi-fi as the internet disappears on a pc directly connected to the cable modem and wi-fi on the pc is turned off. This started a couple of months ago. Prior to that the internet service was fine. What's going on that the internet goes away for 10 minutes at different times of the day

Get used to subpar service, ridiculous run around when you need support and price gouging at every point in your relationship with Spectrum. Expect no better than half of the speed you pay for, expect constant aggravation, expect to be funneled into an endless IVR or chatbot hell anytime you try to contact them to get what you pay for.

Expect the worst customer service. you can possibly imagine and it will save you some disappointment. Your problem is almost certainly going to be ignored.

Might help if you can provide some details on the modem and/or router in play--brand and model number, how the computer connects, etc.

Are you noticing any changes in the lights for the modem and/or router when this happens, if so which lights and what changes?

Do other devices also lose internet access, and how are they connected?

They will simply need more details to provide any guidance here, as this is mostly user to user discussion and we cannot see modem logs and such--that would require you to call in to the number on your bill.

    Hello,

Start by unplugging your modem and router for several minutes. Reconnect modem first, wait to come back online, than router. Reboot all devices. If issue is not fixed, call for a signal and drop line check. The signal and line check will require a tech visit.
