Help For New Spectrum CATV Customers Who Want Regular DVR's and Not XUMO Boxes

Good Morning All!

Sometimes I like to provide help and support for new customers moving to Spectrum Services, or migrating from their old services to Spectrum Services, What should new customers do if they are used to having DVR Services and don't want the XUMO streaming box? One person I know wants to get Spectrum Voice with their CATV and needs Caller ID on TV, and another person wants a last channel recall button on the remote, which is not offered on the XUMO remote, and has used a regular DVR all his life. What do they need to do to get a regular DVR box for their CATV services.

    While streaming apps have become a popular thing, we still offer cable boxes and DVR cable boxes to our customers who prefer that option. They can absolutely give us a call at 1-855-707-7328​​​ to switch their equipment anytime. However, if they currently have a Xumo device and opted for a $5.00 monthly service fee, they will have the ability to purchase it outright and keep it or return it the device.
