Home phone caller id tv screen display delay

When I receive a phone call to my home phone it displays on my tv screen, but it doesn't ring on my home phone right away it takes a few seconds for my home phone to ring after the call is displayed on my tv screen. This issue never used to exist, any solution to this problem?

    Hello @Torres720;

    I do understand the concern that the phone is not ringing right away. There should not be much of a delay from when the call registers on your TV then when it rings on the phone. The modem likely needed a reset to refresh the connection with our network. I do see that you reached out to our support earlier and they assisted you with the reset. If you continue to see delays on the ringing then it might be an issue with the phone you are using. There could be settings within the phone that is delaying the ring. I would recommend you check the settings to see if there is anything that might delay it.
